Having had no art education in my Catholic K-12 experience, I was always moved by the visual world that surrounded me, both in the church and in my life As a lover of the 1960s British invasion and pop music, I become quite aware that the song writers and musicians were often students of visual art.
Upon realizing that trend, I decided to explore both avenues – music & art. Before I picked up a drawing pencil, I picked up a guitar. I found, through time, that the drawing pencil led to a stick of charcoal, and eventually the paintbrushes and the engraving tools became my true vehicle of communication.
Although I still love to sing and play music, I find that most opportunities to perform coincide with the hours I like to sleep.
